Thank you for using the ‘As long as it sparkles website’. We very much hope you enjoy the shopping experience. Before you start shopping, please read the following terms and conditions. Once you have agreed to these terms and conditions, you are signifying your agreement to be bound by them.

Contract of sale

All items displayed for sale on the website are currently in stock. However, there will be rare occasions some things will be out of stock. If an item can no longer be sourced for the foreseeable future, it will be removed immediately from the online shop. As long as it sparkles reserves the right to withdraw items for sale at any time. If an item is on reorder, “temporarily out of stock” will appear in the item description. If your website purchase coincides with a break in supply, this purchase will not be a contract of sale with As long as it sparkles. You will be contacted by As long as it sparkles and offered the opportunity to wait to purchase the item(s) of your choice when it arrives back in stock or cancel the sale. Your purchase will therefore not be contractually confirmed until you receive an email entitled “As long as it sparkles order – confirmation of postage.” If part of your order is not available, we will contact you for authorization to make a partial delivery.

If you would like to purchase an item which has “temporarily out of stock” in the description, please contact us. We will be able to inform you when the item is likely to be back in stock.

Making a purchase

You will be emailed when you have placed the order with a description of the goods and the total amount. In the unlikely event that the postage of your item is delayed, As long as it sparkles will contact you to inform you of the date on which you can expect delivery. Unless your purchase is out of stock, orders will not take more than five working days to be dispatched. If you have any special requirements for postage, please contact us at the time of your order. We will be happy to try and meet these requirements.

Pricing

All prices shown on the As long as it sparkles website are inclusive of VAT and in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). We welcome purchases from overseas and as the prices on the As long as it sparkles website are displayed in pounds, your credit card company will charge you in your country’s currency at that day’s exchange rate. Local charges are not the responsibility of As long as it sparkles Ltd.

We cannot be held responsible for typographical errors on this site, including but not limited to those including price. As long as it sparkles reserves the right to change our terms and conditions and product and price information without any notice being given.

Packaging

We make every effort to package your items attractively, safely and securely. Each item will be wrapped in pink tissue paper, if you would like a box or organza bag please ask us the cost. The items will then be bubble wrapped and posted in a padded envelope. It is important that you retain this packaging if you want to make a return. Additional information on returns is provided below.

Postage

All items within the UK will be posted by first class any item over £15 will be posted by special delivery and therefore will require a signature on receipt. We post items overseas using the Royal Mail’s International services. Current postage prices are £6.00 for international postage and £4.95 for special delivery within the UK. With regard to international deliveries, any additional charges that may be incurred for customs clearance must be borne by you.

If your order is late, please contact us. We will issue you with its special delivery number to use as a tracking reference with your local sorting office or on the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com). We can only refund non-deliveries when the parcel is officially classified as lost by the Royal Mail. This is 10 working days after the date of delivery. If your order is urgent, we will post out a replacement, if available, but only upon receipt of payment for this item. We will then arrange for a refund if the original item has not been delivered after the 10 days has elapsed.

Quality

As long as it sparkles works with designers which produce the highest standard of Jewellery and accessories. We take great care to accurately describe and photograph each item, but the colour, finish and shape of unique handmade items made from natural materials may differ from one item to another.

We want you to purchase from the As long as it sparkles website with confidence. However, in the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we will attempt to put things right or arrange for a return. For more information on returns, please read the section entitled “Returns” below.

Returns

If the item you have purchased from the As long as it sparkles website is unsuitable and you wish to cancel your purchase, you must inform us within seven days starting from the day after you have received this item. You must inform us either in writing to the contact point above or by email to jodypettet@hotmail.co.uk. This communication should include details of your item, the reason for return, your name and address and whether you require a refund or replacement.

As long as it sparkles recommends that you return your item to us within 10 days of receipt. We will be happy to exchange your items or offer you a full refund, providing that we receive the items in their original condition and original packaging. If the returned item falls outside of these guidelines, then you will be issued with a credit note. If the items arrive with obvious signs of abuse or have been damaged as a result of incorrect packaging being used, then these items will be returned to you. Please note that we are not able to accept the return of earrings or hair accessories in line with current health and hygiene regulations unless they are faulty.

With the exception of faulty items, you will be required to pay for the return of items yourself. We strongly advise you to return the item as quickly as possible and obtain proof of posting and a delivery service that insures you for the value of your items. As long as it sparkles cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit. If your item is faulty, As long as it sparkles will strive to arrange for an item refund or exchange and refund for your return postage within five working days of receipt of the faulty item. Refunds will be provided by the same method by which you paid for the item and will be given no later than 10 days after we have received notification of the cancellation of your purchase.

Data privacy

When you make a purchase, As long as it sparkles collects certain information to fulfill your order. However, we are completely committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the eight guiding principles of the Data Protection Act 1998. We do not disclose customer details to any third party for marketing or other purposes unless you give us explicit authority to do so.

Use of our website

All use of the As long as it sparkles website must be lawful and not injurious to any third party. You must not copy the content or images contained within the As long as it sparkles web pages for commercial purposes without the written consent of As long as it sparkles Ltd.

All the conditions above do not affect your statutory rights.
